Difference between LVT floor / SPC floor / WPC floor
The flooring industry has developed rapidly in the past decade, and new types of flooring have emerged, such as LVT flooring, WPC wood plastic flooring and SPC stone plastic flooring. Let's take a look at the differences among these three types of flooring.
1 LVT floor
1. LVT floor structure: the internal structure of LVT floor generally includes UV paint layer, wear-resistant layer, color film layer and LVT medium base layer. Generally, the medium base layer is composed of three layers of LVT. In order to improve the dimensional stability of the floor, customers will require the factory to add glass fiber mesh in the substrate layer to reduce the floor deformation caused by temperature changes.
2 WPC floor
1. WPC floor structure: WPC floor contains paint layer, wear-resistant layer, color film layer, LVT layer, WPC substrate layer.
3 SPC floor
Structure of SPC floor: at present, SPC floor in the market includes three types, single layer SPC floor with online fit, AB structure combined with LVT and SPC and SPC composite floor with ABA structure. The following figure shows the single layer SPC floor structure.
Above is the difference between LVT floor, WPC floor and SPC floor. These three new types of floor are actually derivatives of PVC floor.
